The challenge
Lugg needed one app to cover apartment moves, Craigslist pickups, store deliveries, donation drop-offs and junk removal, matching customers with vetted movers and trucks wherever and whenever they needed them.
The approach
- Plan. Working sessions with the client to define product goals, interviews with target users to validate personas, and a review of competitor features.
- Information architecture. A task-oriented structure and mind maps to identify the primary task flows.
- Wireframes and prototype. Clickable prototypes for early testing, with weekly client presentations to iterate quickly on flows.
- Build. Three visual directions (light, dark, colourful) to choose from, then pixel-perfect screens, developer specs and a UI kit.
